Paris Saint-Germain signing Gregory van der Wiel says he is enjoying life in the French capital after moving from Ajax.
The 24-year-old quit his boyhood club to sign for the Ligue 1 runners-up last week, and insisted he was delighted to commence training with PSG.
"I'm glad to be here. (There are) very good players and everyone is very nice. In any case, I'm glad to finally be able to train with them," van der Wiel told the club's website.
"I've talked a bit with Maxwell, Alex and (Zoumana) Camara. I still do not know my other team-mates, but we'll get to know (each other) little by little.
"I am very happy to be in Paris. I know some places (such as) the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysees and of course, the Parc des Princes.
"I have also (been following) the results of Paris Saint-Germain for some time. This is a very good team, and I'm glad to be part of (them)."
Carlo Ancelotti's side have recorded one win and three draws from the first four games of the Ligue 1 season.
